The Bedford Regional Medical Center's cancer program is one of only 34 hospitals in Indiana to be accredited by the American College of Surgeons; which is the national enti-
ty that sets the standards for and evaluates performance of hospital-based cancer
programs. Members of our nursing team are certified by the Oncology Nursing
Society.We are dedicated to providing ongoing education for our physicians and
nurses through regularly scheduled cancer committee and tumor board meet-
ings,as well as programs provided by Community Cancer Care,and certification
offered through the Oncology Nursing Society.
