Dr. Joanne Smart completed her residency and medical education at the University of New Mexico. She is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians and the Indiana State Medical Association. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Smart has been with BRMC since July 1994.
She has completed a fellowship training in infectious disease.
