Bedford Regional Medical Center's specialty clinic offers cardiology services. It is staffed by a board certified cardiologist who sees patients in consultation. They can also perform needed interventions such as cardiac catheterization and angioplasty at a nearby facility. All echocardiograms are read by the cardiologist, thereby providing the most accurate interpretation of these tests.

You can benefit from cardiac rehabilitation if you have or have had any of the following procedures or conditions:
- Acute myocardial infarction
- Cardiac catheterization
- Coronary-prone individuals (one or more established major risk factors)
- Valvular heart disease
- Myocardial disease with history of congestive heart failure
- Atherosclerotic heart disease
- Angioplasty or artherectomy
- Pacemaker or AICD
- Coronary artery bypass surgery
- Heart transplant
Pulmonary Rehabilitation
The Pulmonary Rehab Program is designed to improve respiratory patients quality of life through individualized counseling, education and medically supervised exercise to control the symptoms of respiratory impairment. With a referral from your doctor you may enter the program that has already helped many patients breathe and function easier.
