Case coordination assures communication and direction of medical care to keep employers informed and involved in each employeeís progress through the Work Team/BRMC/Clarian system.
Occupation Medicine case coordinators are dedicated to improving the quality and efficiency of information to all interested parties, including employers, health care providers, insurance carriers and employees.
Case coordination results in cost savings to the employer through:
- Prompt treatment and faster access to definitive care.
- Fewer lost days of work with a proactive approach to return employees to work.
- Effective coordination and communication with the healthcare team, including an occupational Medicine physician and staff who have been trained to understand the needs of business and industry.
- Advocacy for the employer with the medical system.
