Southern Indiana Work Teamís Occupational Medicine Clinic at the Bedford Regional Medical Center has drug and alcohol screening technicians available on-site Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Testing is also available at other times either by appointment or through our Emergency Department for post accident.
Medical Review Officer (MRO) services are also available. All positive drug screen tests are are trained to be specialists in drug and alcohol knowledge. Our MRO reviews all positive drug tests with the patient. Our drug screening meets the Department of Transportation regulations. Non-DOT drug screenings are also available for pre-placement, post-accident, random, reasonable suspicion and follow-up.
Results from rapid drug screens will be reported to employer representative within 1-2 hours of collection. Drug screens that require lab processing will be reported 24-48 hours after collection for negative results. Positive drug screen results will be evaluated by a Medical Review Officer (MRO) and may take 3 to 5 business days to complete. All results will be communicated to the employer representative with a hard copy sent by e-mail, fax or mail.
