The Asthma/COPD Clinic is open on Wednesdays from 8:30 - 5:00 p.m.  Any physician including ER physicians may refer patients.  Once the order and the referral have been received; the patient will be contacted for an appointment.  If the patient comes from a medical office at BRMC, the appointment can be made by the medical office staff. The ER referrals will have orders sent to the Respiratory Department and the patients will be contacted by the asthma educator and appointment made. The order will be verified and a letter will be sent to the patient.

As COPD educators we look forward to increasing awareness of COPD and Asthma. Together with the physicians, nurse practitioners and other health care professionals; we will provide compassionate care and will support our community with the proper disease education and management needed to improve each patients quality of life.
